Leila/Merwin Poems
Good morning, Tom, I just finished reading A Lineage of Loves.
What an impressive use of the "I" voice. The way it controls pacing with its subjective use of details produces exceptional imagery. I enjoyed the understated humor that showed up, too.
From start to finish, I felt like I was animating one of those Flip Books we'd occasionally find in a box Cracker Jack's.
What a great beginning to a reading day!
